Day 1: Barskoon to Tash-Kechuu River
After breakfast, depart to Barskoon Canyon. Begin your trek through Sasyk-Bulak Valley, surrounded by forests and grazing cattle. Enjoy the serene environment and set up camp near Tash-Kechuu River.
Day 2: Tash-Kechuu to Altyn-Kungoi Jailoo
Savor breakfast on the green pastures before continuing your climb through the valley. The terrain becomes more rugged and remote as you approach Altyn-Kungoi Jailoo at the base of Tosor Pass (3847m). Overnight in tents.
Day 3: Tosor Pass to Kerege-Tash Valley
Cross the dramatic Tosor Pass (3847m), where breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks await. Descend into the wide Kerege-Tash Valley, surrounded by a magical alpine landscape. Camp amidst the stunning scenery.
Day 4: Kerege-Tash to Uch-Emchek Valley
Today’s ride is gentle but long, traversing the expansive Uch-Emchek Valley. Spot yurts and grazing herds of yaks, horses, and goats as you journey through this pastoral paradise. Overnight in a scenic campsite.
Day 5: Uch-Emchek to Kara-Kaman Valley
Travel along the banks of a swift river before entering the Ichke-Tor Valley. Pass through vibrant meadows and camp in the serene Kara-Kaman Valley, enjoying the tranquility of the mountains.
Day 6: Kara-Kaman to Balgart River
Start early, crossing the Archaly River and traversing the Aikol Valley. Meet local shepherds who often invite travelers for tea, offering a glimpse into their mountain lifestyle. Camp near the scenic Balgart River.
Day 7: Balgart to Jakbolot River
Follow the Uzun-Jakbolot River and cross the challenging Jakbolot Pass (3841m). This pass marks the transition from the Issyk-Kul region to the Naryn side. Camp near the Jakbolot River.
Day 8: Jakbolot to Eki-Naryn Valley
Descend into the stunning Ooruk-Tam Valley, leading to the confluence of two canyons forming the Eki-Naryn River. Enjoy the striking beauty of the merging rivers and camp near Kaiyndy.
Day 9: Kaiyndy to Doboluu
Ride through the picturesque Burhan River Valley and Too-Jailoo before setting up camp in Doboluu. Immerse yourself in the pristine mountain surroundings.
Day 10: Doboluu to Naryn
On the final day, journey through Chon-Kur River and Alysh, reaching Naryn by evening. Relax in a guesthouse, enjoy a refreshing "banya" or sauna, and celebrate the end of your trek with a hearty dinner. Overnight in Naryn.
