Day 1: Bishkek to Bokonbaevo
Your journey begins in Bishkek with a transfer to Bokonbaevo, a picturesque village on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. On the way, we stop at the historical Burana Tower, an 11th-century architectural complex. After lunch at a local household, we continue to Kyzyl-Tuu village, famous for its skilled yurt makers. Here, you'll witness the traditional art of Kyrgyz carpet making and visit a handicrafts museum where you can purchase unique souvenirs for loved ones. In the evening, we settle in for an overnight stay at a local homestay in Bokonbaevo village.
Day 2: Trekking from Kadji-Say to Boz Salkyn Yurt Camp
The day starts with a trek from Kadji-Say village, leading to the scenic Boz Salkyn Yurt Camp. Along the route, you'll reach a panoramic viewpoint offering breathtaking vistas of Issyk-Kul Lake. Lunch will be enjoyed in the wilderness atop Panorama Mountain, situated 2,600 meters above sea level. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a traditional yurt at Shatyly place.
Day 3: Climbing Tastar Ata Mountain
Our trek begins at 9:00 AM with a climb up Tastar Ata Mountain, reaching an altitude of 3,847 meters. Lunch is served at the mountain's summit, surrounded by awe-inspiring views. We then descend and set up camp near the mountain river Jazy Kechuu, where we spend the night in tents.
Day 4: Exploring Shepherds' Life and Tuyuk-Tor Valley
Today, we delve into the nomadic lifestyle as we visit alpine lakes and learn how Kyrgyz shepherds produce the traditional drink "Kymyz" (fermented mare's milk). In the evening, we arrive at Tuyuk-Tor Valley, where we camp and sleep in tents amidst serene natural beauty.
Day 5: Final Trek to Tuura-Suu Village
After breakfast, we begin our descent towards Tuura-Suu village. Along the trail, you'll pass through local courtyards and witness the daily life of livestock farmers. Once we cross the Ton River, a car will transport us to Ton village. Here, you'll have free time to explore the village and relax at a comfortable yurt camp near the lake's shore.
Day 6: Return to Bishkek
On the final day, we transfer back to Bishkek. Upon arrival, you can either spend the night in a hotel or head directly to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable Kyrgyz adventure.
